MONSU Caulfield is the independent student union for the students of Monash University in Melbourne. It is made up of so many different things that they have a solution for anything that uni life could throw at you. From free breakfasts to exam help, drag queen bingo at Safe & Sexy Week to Student Rights & Support for when it looks like you are failing out. The wide gamut of services and activities means that the brand strategy not only allowed for, but embraced visual messaging and a tone of voice that spanned the organisation's entire range.

Rebranding MONSU started with a deep-dive research stage that involved surveys and stakeholder round tables to identify and define key goals. Working closely with the in-house MONSU creative team (Ming-En Koh, Charlene Lê, Sharina Mach & Nicole Carmeni) the brand was implemented online and on campus to achieve the outlined goals and push for new ones.

We simplified messaging, built a brand system that would flex to fill any purpose, and kept students’ experience as the focus at all times.
